Currently seeking for aMaterial Managment Operative in North West London area.
Primary Purposes Of Role
The job has six (6) main purposes:
The effective materials management of products for wards and departments.
Setting, reviewing and maintaining optimum stock levels of all products which are materially managed at ward, theatre and departmental level.
The effective management of all couriers and deliveries arriving via the Goods In Department.
The effective receipt, tracking, delivery & query resolution of all non-stock, e-direct and direct stock & stock orders. Using the Trusts finance system Efin and the Eleanor Track and trace /CARE system
To effectively manage the Cabinet put away process to ensure items are available to trust staff as and when required.
Scan Order, Delivery and Put Away Operations
Accurate 100% demand capture (scanning) and put away of catalogued medical supplies and I.V. fluids (where appropriate) in line with PAR levels
Understanding of daily scan schedules, scan download files for stock, direct stock (where applicable), fluids (where applicable) & EDC ensuring all are on time
Communication of stock issues with ward management and senior clinical staff in a timely manner
Ensure deliveries of goods via, cage, pallet truck, PPT or trolley are accurate to the scanned order, delivered and are correctly checked off put away and signed for in accordance to agreed KPI's.
Raise and resolve queries, process stock returns to NHSSC or any other supplier to the trust using the EDC system, CARE system, HOSLO helpdesk in accordance with the 72 hour timeline KPIAnswer the telephone, resolve and action branch request forms (BRF) and department queries received through the Helpdesk
Maintain and keep up to date department catalogues and bar code labelling.
Participate in 2 PAR level reviews per department per year with recommendations in line with service level agreement with the Trust
Filing of paperwork in line with daily tasks
Reporting of all exceptions to the Site Supervisor or Site Manager as appropriate
Participate and engage fully with all training and sign offs including but not limited to SOP's, Health and Safety, Infection Control and Manual Handling
Comply with all on site Health and Safety, uniform & PPE requirements
To be polite and professional always
Ensure that all company and Trust policies are adhered to
To provide cover for other MM staff and support all other Eleanor MM contracts based within London - if and as requested
Full participation in annual stock takes
All other reasonable requests as made by the Site Supervisor / Site Manager
Provide a high-quality materials management service for Eleanor to the Trust.
- Pay £10.50 per hour
- Pay after 12 weeks £11.9
- Shifts Monday to Friday
- Start 8AM
Benefits & Requirements:
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
