About You
Are you passionate about shaping the future of recruitment and talent acquisition? Do you thrive on implementing innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent? If so, McCarthy Stone is looking for a dynamic individual to lead our Talent Acquisition team.
You will have a proven track record in stakeholder management and influencing, the ability to build authentic long-term relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders and influence others.
Communication is key to the success of this role, and you will be adept in communicating with impact using different styles appropriate to the audience.
You will have demonstrable experience in developing innovative talent acquisition strategies, and overseeing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously and your expertise will drive the implementation of new, tailored approaches to attract and retain top talent across all areas of our business.
The Role
The primary responsibilities include overseeing the entire recruitment process, evaluating current strategies, comparing them with industry standards, and implementing improvements where necessary.
Additionally, this role involves leading and inspiring the Talent Acquisition team to deliver high-quality services and promoting a culture of ongoing enhancement.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the organisation attracts and retains top talent to support its goals and objectives.
Additionally, promoting a direct sourcing recruitment model aims to reduce dependency on external recruitment agencies, potentially cutting costs and improving return on investment (ROI) in talent acquisition efforts.

Your Attributes
You will have:
- CIPD qualified or equivalent HR qualification / experience
- Strong track record of managing, influencing and motivating others
- Successful track record of developing innovative talent acquisition strategies and plans to meet organisational objectives
- Experience of overseeing / running multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
- Demonstrable uptodate working knowledge of current employment legislation, policies, practices and procedures and the impact on best recruitment and induction practices.
