So, where do i fit in?

  • As Industry Operations Squad Lead, your purpose is to drive quality within the Industry Operations Area and support our Specialists to achieve key objectives and contribute to performance improvement on operational exceptions. This is through daytoday management of our Specialists, and regular collaboration with Industry Ops Leads and Managers to ensure our teams deliver on improvement to our data quality and process compliance. You'll have line manager responsibilities as a coach to new and existing members of the team. You'll work alongside the team to find the right solution to customer and industry challenges.
Lead By Example.
We have a strong culture and set of values at Good Energy. Whilst everyone is responsible for living this day to day, as a lead the team will look to you.
Drive Performance.
You'll manage and report on performance in the team related to our core KPIs as well as industry SLAs. You'll keep the team motivated by recognising successes as well as identifying and addressing areas of underperformance.
Develop Best Practice.
You'll regularly review our processes to ensure they are efficient, and that best practice has been documented.

You'll take opportunities to check the team's understanding and adherence to processes, providing coaching or training as needed to address any gaps.

You'll support the Industry Operations Manager in resolving any challenges identified in order to deliver process improvement.
Trend Analysis & Feedback.
You'll provide feedback to Leads, Technical Specialists & Industry Operations Manager.

This includes root cause analysis with a view to identifying opportunities to improve our service whether that be knowledge and skills, process changes, 3rd party performance review or system improvements.

Coach.

You'll develop a close relationship with our new starters, acting as a mentor and coach to them as they learn their new roles.

You'll tailor your approach to meet the needs of each individual, accurately identifying their successes and areas for improvement. You'll provide timely feedback and guidance to support each individual through passing their probation.

You'll be organised and excellent at time management, allowing you to balance the short term demands of the team and business with the long term goals we work to achieve.
