Job Role; Finance Officer - Part Time / Hybrid

Location; Rochdale

With our Client we are looking to appoint a Finance Officer on a Part Time basis.

Based in the heart of the Rochdale Community our Client is one the UK's leading light for Children and Young People.

The role of the Finance Officer is an essential element to the success of our Clients Business.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE FINANCE OFFICER;
- £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata for c 30 hrs (can be less hours for a more experienced Finance Officer)

  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Hols (pro rata)
  • Pension 4% matched
  • Travel Allowance if located more than 25 miles away

THE ROLE OF FINANCE OFFICER;

  • Daily use of Sage and Excel for Sales / Purchase Ledger and a range of Reconciliations
  • Assist with VAT and PAYE Returns
  • Update of a range of Excel Reports
  • Payment of Staff Expenses
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Works with External Auditors across Year End Audit
  • Ad hoc Finance Projects
The role will initially be offered on a 13 months contract - which will be reviewed.
