As we know TEC is capable of providing an effective solution to meet demands on health and social care services and help address the challenge of delivering care and support to those with Complex Needs (primarily learning disabilities and autism) in communities.

The future delivery of social care lies in a partnership between person centred one to one support and a creative and bespoke technology enabled care packages.

The role will be on a wakened nightshift basis and will involve responding to

  • Technology alerts and alarm activations
  • Planned / unplanned virtual responses
  • Personal Care Requests
  • Emergency Support
  • Safeguarding the individual's welfare and well being
  • Technical Support
  • Supports after a fall

The Individual:

You will be enthusiastic, motivated, have a keen interest and willingness to deliver care and support to those with Complex Needs (primarily learning disabilities and autism) in communities.

You will support individuals through a response to technology alerts and alarm activations, this will include planned and unplanned virtual response as per support plans, you will be expected to provide direct support to individuals across a variety of tasks.

This may also include moving and handling and administering medications.

It is essential that you have good communication skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate at varying levels with individuals, colleagues and other professionals.

Due to the response and lone working elements of this role it is essential that you drive and a geographical knowledge of communities in Perth would be desirable.

You will be able to use your initiative and make decisions, be a good team player and knowing when to seek further advice from a manager.

Take responsibility for yourself, customers/ service users, contractors and others and ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation.
