Key responsibilities include:


  • Carrying out testing of products in line with standard operating procedures and relevant standards.
  • Assisting and participating in projects to continuously improve processes and the products.
  • Maintaining core skills through direct "hands on" activity.
  • Developing skills, knowledge and assisting in training of the team.
  • Responsibility for meeting standard work requirements within the work area.
  • Participate in daytoday completion of change initiatives.
  • Operating in accordance with Health & Safety policy and responsible for area adherence to all procedures.
  • Achievement / adherence of the production plan to give 100% performance to both internal and external customer/suppliers. These targets will be published for each area.
  • Liaise and communicate with support functions and colleagues to achieve area targets effective operation of local Kanban material supply system.
  • Participating in local 5S and continuous improvement activities to promote a safe, defectfree and 'visual workplace'.
  • Promoting the "Right First Time" ethos, ensuring quality checks and tests are performed.
What You Need to Succeed

  • HNC in electrical/electronics or equivalent fields is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience or working within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and experience of reading and understanding wiring diagrams
  • SAP knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
