What you'll do


As Data Optimisation Group Lead you will lead the engineering team in line with the strategy and goals, whilst remaining accountable for design, development and implementation of data optimisation solutions.

You will work with all Vodafone Europe markets, as well as Digital teams and customers to monitor quality of data consumption and Tech25 goals achievement.


  • You will manage, motivate, coach and develop colleagues in a cross cultural/multinational team
  • You will analyse and evaluate the business strategy, requirement and define the system evolution within the domain
  • You will develop innovative process and tools for monitoring and ensuring data quality and optimisation, whilst preparing for the future strategy
  • You will work with the rest of the team to simplify the area to reduce estate and harmonize across footprint solution to meet customer requirements
  • You will define the integrated domain strategy and architecture to deliver on the respective implementation roadmap
  • You will manage projects and coordinate vendors across the entire system lifecycle

Who you are

  • You will have experience in a similar position with comparable budget and people accountability
  • You will have an awareness of IT and project processes as aligned to IT standards e.g. ITIL, ETOM
  • You will have experience with performance management systems, data storage and data collection
  • You will have experience working with senior stakeholders across a diversified structure to communicate projects with delivery at the forefront
  • You will have end to end project experience, with a data focus
