Cost Centre Supporter


Salary:
£32,076 - £33,945


Permanent Contract working 35 hours per week, based at Service HQ, Bridle Road, Bootle, Merseyside
We are looking to appoint a Cost Centre Supporter to join our Accountancy Team.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with budget planning and monitoring expenditure, in particular regarding employee budgets and expenditure
  • Ensuring approved budgets and all Financial Regulations and Contract Standing Orders are adhered to
  • Maintaining the payroll database and employee structures, this includes making amendments following the issue of position statements, in liaison with HR
  • Assisting in the annual preparation of revenue budgets and responsibility for quarterly variance analysis, including identifying and rectifying any material differences


You must be part qualified or a qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, together with a high standard of Maths and English.


In addition, it is essential that you are experienced in working as part of a team within a financial environment and you possess excellent communication skills.
