Quality Auditor

Location - Sandwich, Kent

Salary - £24000 to £27000 per annum

Can you maintain appropriate regimes for shelf-life, customers testing, laboratory testing, and ensure that accurate records are maintained?

We have an amazing opportunity in Sandwich for a Quality Auditor to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working full-time.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance to BRCGS and Retailer Standards and ensure all procedures & policies within the Food Safety and Quality Manual are adhered to
Responsible for complaint investigations, technical data gathering
Conduct daily inspections to include GMP, glass, wood and other physical audits
Ensure checks, such as temperature & weighing equipment, are carried out as per procedures
Provide data for KPI capture
Inspect and ensure all finished products are produced, packed, and labelled per customer requirements
Ensure CCPs, traceability systems for inputs, work in progress and finished products, and all other process control parameters are being followed
Follow the appropriate regime for the microbiological testing of products and environment by dealing with an external laboratory
Maintain appropriate regime for shelflife, customers testing, laboratory testing, and ensure that accurate records are maintained
Maintain systems for monitoring the specification of inputs and packaging material intake, ensuring quality standards and specifications are maintained
Lead investigations with the relevant team and root cause analysis for all nonconformances and customer complaints
Support and promote an active Food and Safety Culture
Address or report any hazard observed immediately, health or food related
Immediately investigate & report any workplace incidents
Other duties as deemed reasonable
