As an insurance broker which specialises in motor fleets throughout the UK, we are expanding our claims team at our Leeds office and are looking for a Claims Handler to join our team.

Do you have experience working in the Insurance industry in a claims handler role? If so then we want to hear from you


Your responsibilities day to day will be

  • Manage an end to end caseload comprising of Motor Fleet, Commercial, Home, EL & PL claims.
  • Creating new claims files and claim entries + updating claims payments
  • Liaise with and advise customers on claims procedures
  • Liaise with clients, Insurers and repairers where necessary to progress claim
  • Making written records of all conversations with customers and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts in accordance with the firm's procedures manual
  • Produce and present reports as and when required by clients, Account Executives, insurers or colleagues
  • Meet with and support Account Executives at meetings with clients and/or Insurers.

What do we expect of you?

  • Knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial/private customers
  • Knowledge of general insurance and its underlying legal principles
  • Minimum of 2 years claims handling experience preferably within an Insurer
  • Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of insurance, claims and related issues through formal and informal learning both internal to the firm and externally

Hours- Monday

  • Friday 9am5.15pm

Salary- Up to £27,000 DOE
