We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join our busy team.


CAMHS SPA is the "front door" to the child and adolescent mental health services in Somerset so no two days are the same.

You will work alongside experienced clinicians to support our external partners who want to refer to CAMHS.

To provide a complete administrative service to clinical team. Taking calls from referrers, young people and their families. To organise own workload and work closely with other early intervention services in CAMHS. To work within the Trust values and core standards to maintain an excellent patient experience at all times.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly at times across other early intervention CAMHS services.

The post holder is required to maintain the Trust's values and core standards and to lead by example.

  • To organise and maintain a room booking system for meetings and appointments for various professional team members.
  • To assist in ensuring relevant files, papers, refreshments, etc are available for meetings.
  • To take initiative where necessary, prioritising the workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • To provide the first line contact for calls coming into the SPA team, taking appropriate information prior to the involvement of a clinical staff member.
  • Maintenance of administrative files and records of referrals, attendances and discharges.
  • Maintenance of client files ensuring confidentiality.
