Looking for a new role based in the Midlands for 2023?

My client are currently looking for a Tax Accountant to join their growing in-house function based in the Midlands.

This is an opportunity to work for one of the largest medical equipment suppliers based in the UK, gaining a wide range of experience acrossCorporate Tax and VAT.

Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the company's direct and indirect tax compliance process, ensuring that returns are filed in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Liaising with advisors to complete complicated projects
  • Daily accounting
  • Working with the Head of Tax to help grow the in house function, ensuring that new members are supported thoroughly and that their professional goals are met
  • Assist on all tax related matters
  • Provide input on a variety of ongoing financial projects.

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent (preferred not required).
  • Knowledge of tax in a commercial setting
  • Willingness to learn and develop with a clear progression plan
  • Hardworking with the desire to learn

Package:
- £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

  • Bonus
  • Hybrid 2 days in office
  • 28 days holiday
