Edmundsons Electrical are a national electrical wholesaler and we currently have a vacancy for an experienced
Credit Administrator at within our head office team based near
Glasgow.

We are based in beautiful modern offices overlooking the marina.

As the successful
Credit Administrator, you will be reporting to the Regional Credit Manager and be part of a team who are responsible for the operation of the company's credit control function, to ensure efficient collection of payment for sales invoices and provide management with regularly outstanding debtor reports and identify accounts of concern.

You will look after a portfolio of ledgers, with a view to maximising cash flow whilst maintaining an excellent relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.

Other duties include:

Responsibility for the operation of the company's credit control function ensuring the efficient flow of cash.
Identify customer invoice queries and escalate for resolution to ensure timely recovery of debts.
Prompt management and resolution of invoice queries internally and externally and various forms of customer payments this will include managing approved payment plans through to completion.
Managing credit administrator

You will have excellent skills in Microsoft packages and credit control IT systems and processes.

Be risk aware and assured when making credit decision and it is essential that you have excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) and a strong team ethics to support colleagues within the company.

Ideally you will have credit control experience but someone with strong transferable skills would be considered.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, working Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

On offer is a salary from
£22,000-£28,000 per annum depending on experience, holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays, free onsite parking, contributory pension scheme, generous profit share scheme, various company social events and study support towards relevant qualification.
