Would you like the opportunity to work for a leading pharmaceutical organisation in the Cambridge area?

My client is an established and successful analytical organisation, providing contract analytical services and chemistry consultancy to a range of Pharmaceutical clients.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking to hire a Scientific Project Manager tosupport laboratory functions.

The Scientific Project Manager will act as the primary liaison with clients and the lab to make sure objectives are met and delivered in a high quality and timely manner.

As a Scientific Project Manager you will be responsible for:

Supporting the senior project manager and to the project management team with organisational and administrative tasks, monitoring progress against pre-agreed milestones, managing risks and assisting with report writing.
Preparing project documentation such as protocols
Assessing equipment and consumables requirements
Stakeholder management, progress updates and resolving queries.
Organising and attending project meetings; producing minutes, actions, risks and issue logs.
Monitoring inprocess activities and keeps senior management informed on a regular basis to include as a minimum the following metrics: Testing and report turnaround times and Ontime delivery

To be considered for the Scientific Project Manager role you will need the following skills and experience:

BSc in Chemistry or equivalent
Proven laboratory experience
Strong organisation, presentation, and communication skills, along with the ability to problemsolve
Awareness of cGMP regulations and pharmacopoeia to ensure that work carried out by the Company is performed according to these requirements wherever relevant
Knowledge of project management principles is desirable
