When you join us as a Community Support Worker you will help deliver excellent Support Services which are both individualised and customer-led, promoting the wellbeing and support for our service users.

This role based at Paines Mill Housing Related Support (St Neots) offers accommodation and support for homeless people aged 18 and over is now interested in meeting with inspirational individuals who would like to give back to their community.


Offered on a permanent basis across a 7 day week your support will enable you to provide a positive intervention and help our services users to access specialist agencies, healthcare, benefits advice, employment, education, training, and other support services with the view to supporting, and enriching their life, and interaction with individuals within their local community.


Within this role you will work with individuals who may have complex long-term support needs, you'll need to be resilient, creative, and able to work with behaviour that may be challenging.

With each in individual you will help them to make the link between housing, training, and employment, thus providing a steppingstone to independence.

This opportunity will enable you to help people through enabling them to gain a sense of identity and confidence to help them to progress towards gaining further education, training and/or employment.


In this role you will work with a client group to identify their needs and develop support programmes delivering structured support to clients and undertaking risk assessments.

To be successful you will need to have experience of delivering support services, excellent listening and communication skills and possess a highly organises approach to your work.

It would be desirable if you have some prior experience of welfare benefits and budgeting.
