Faculty / Directorate


Student and Academic Services (SAAS) is responsible for providing a wide and diverse range of services to all our students including Admissions, Graduation, Student Welfare, Careers & Employability, Student Finance and Academic Quality.


Role


We are seeking a coordinator to join the Employer Engagement team within the Student & Academic Services (SAAS) directorate on a fixed term basis.

They will play a key role contributing to the successful operation and development of effective and beneficialrelationships with employers to enhance graduate outcomes for DMU students.


The role works closely with employers to resolve queries, develop relationships and assist with the smooth running of events and ensuring a professional, efficient and friendly service to our various stakeholders.


The Coordinator works closely with colleagues in the Employer Engagement team to support access and training with the career management system software.


We are looking for someone with the ability to communicate to a wide range of service users including employers, staff, students and graduates, preferably with proven experience of working with external stakeholders.


You will have the ability to articulate the careers and employability service to stakeholders using your excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

You'll be familiar with supporting events and working in a customer services environment.

You will also have experience of using databases and have good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
