I am currently recruiting for an Arborist to work on behalf of Doncaster Council.

You will be carrying out arboricultural works across Doncaster, working as part of a team led by a chargehand arborist.

Duties will include:

To work with a team responsible for the delivery of day to day arboriculture operations within the Doncaster Borough, providing a high quality service to meet established service standards, maintaining all onsite safety and meeting deadlines
To share good practice with colleagues and develop a team based approach to all areas of work and to seek improvements to service where possible
To provide a 'service request' point of contact for customers, dealing directly with enquiries where possible, ensuring good customer relationships and satisfaction.

Maintaining apositive image of the Council by ensuring a high standard of personalbehaviour at all times

To work outside in all weathers and undertake tasks allocated appropriate to seasonal working arrangements and any emergency callout situation
To record accurately all work completed. Complete documentation relevant to the post manually or electronically as appropriate

To be successful in this role you will have the below skills and experience:

Arboricultural qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent, up to date certification in all relevant chainsaw, climbing, aerial rescue and grounds operations i.e. NPTC/LANTRA etc
Full driving licence/HGV/Tractor driving and attachments.
Good IT skills
