Key Responsibilities:

The some of the duties expected to be a part of the role:

  • Receive and record general ledger, sales & payroll transactions.
  • Maintaining high standards of confidentiality to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.
  • Accurate recording & input of financial transactions to ensure costs correctly coded.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations to identify any general ledger posting errors.
  • Financial administration in relation to utility invoices and billing information.
  • Adhoc duties to provide financial and queries resolving support as required, to ensure the department delivers a highquality service to the Association and other departments.

About you:


You will have formal qualification such as an HNC in Accounting or similar discipline, or previous equivalent experience in a finance environment.

You also will have previous experience of working in a Finance Officer role (or similar) across a range of finance functions, but additionally its desirable if you have experience of Payroll Processing and preparation of management accounts.

You will need to have previous experience and confidence of using an accounting software packages, payroll software packages, and Human Resource Information system for processing.

Additionally, you must have experience of working to deadlines.

  • Contract: Parttime permanent contract
  • Parttime hours: 22.5 per week, work pattern is negotiable
  • Salary: Starting at £21,481 per year
  • Annual leave: prorata 28 days annual leave, plus 9 fixed public holidays total 37 holidays per year.
