SENIOR MARKET RISK QUANT

£60,000 - £72,000 + £6,000 - £8,000 VARIABLE SALARY + HIGH BONUS

LONDON
Our client is actively hiring for a Senior Market Risk Quantitative Consultant to work in the risk space. This consultancy is for some top banks and financial institutions globally. They work within credit risk, market risk, counterparty risk and climaterisk. This role specifically focuses on modelling market risk models for their trading book.

THE ROLE


The role will be a Senior Quantitative Consultant focused on developing, enhancing, and validating risk models and frameworks for their clients.

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

  • Developing quantitative risk models working on FRTB, VaR, XVA and ES
  • All clients' risk management challenges
  • Managing technical projects
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders in the business and on client side

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong quantitative skills and experience in risk modelling
  • Experience working market risk models
  • Experience using Python is essential
  • Preferably experience using Object Oriented Programming
  • Nice to have consultancy experience
  • Strong Numerate degree

  • Up to £72,000 base salary (plus variable salary can take total to 80k)
