Description

We are looking to appoint a Pre-Treatment Plant Technician to assist with the running of our new Powder Coating operation.

The facility has been created as part of the company's dynamic plans to grow the business organically - to ensure all key componentsare produced and supplied from one UK site.

You will work as part of a growing and friendly team.

Benefits and Pay

Pay: £32,000 per annum for
Workings hours: 12hour shifts (48 hours per week)
Working days: Monday to Thursday

23 days holiday + additional 1 extra day for each year of service (up to 5 years 27 days)

Key Duties

Understand and adhere to EHS requirements
Maintain and order stock to provide continuous and uninterrupted production
Understand and work from internal production orders, recording and maintaining all documentation
Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with 5S Lean Principles
Ensure efficient running of machinery
Liaise and feedback production quality issues
Promote teamwork
Control and manage jig stripping process

Essential Experience/ Qualities

Understanding of EHS
PPE, H&S processes and obligations
Understanding of Quality Systems, audits, use of PWI's
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques reduction in cost, waste and problem solving
People management skills to assist with inductions, training, upskilling and appraisals
Previous experience in a similar role advantageous
