My large client within the Medical industry based in Slough are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Advisor to join their Team.

A 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to go Permanent

The role

  • Provide full support to hiring managers on planned and approved vacancies, managing the recruitment process from start to finish and recruiting individuals within specified time frame.
Growing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and manage agency interactions.

Actively participate in interviewing and selection processes and support the on boarding process for new starters.

Ensure compliance with agreed Recruitment Policy, and that published forms and templates are used.

  • Agree with stakeholders the most effective sourcing strategy for each approved vacancy, including direct sourcing such as job boards and/or LinkedIN
  • Think creatively to grow routes for direct hiring, such as exploring existing networks, approaching universities, utilising online communities etc
  • Monitor data for the effectiveness of the relevant recruitment strategies
  • Ensure timely feedback is provided to recruitment agencies
  • Review and maintain the Agency PSL, ensuring any active agencies have signed terms in place
  • Support the production of new starter paperwork such as offer letters and contracts
  • Provide support to the HR Administrator to complete onboarding process for new hires
  • Organisation and administration of recruitment Assessment Days
  • Support interview arrangement and administration
  • Participate in interviews where appropriate and make meaningful contributions into good hiring decisions
  • Ensure that vacancies are approved and recruitment conducted in line with the Recruitment Policy and process, using current templates
  • Provide support to the HR Administrator to ensure job descriptions are signed and held on file and on ePeople.
Qualifications and Required experience

  • Experience of recruiting or recruitment is required, ideally within an inhouse team
  • Experience of direct hiring tools, such as job boards or LinkedIn Recruiter, is required
  • Experience of interviewing and selection processes Experience of assessment tools would be advantageous, especially Thomas International PPA Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent experience
  • Good level of verbal and written English
