Neway is looking for a Principal Auditor to join our client based with Sefton Council.

This role is starting asap, working 36 hours a week, initially for a 6 month contract.

Pay Rate is £21.62 p/h PAYE (equivalent to £27.31 umbrella)

Remote working considered.

Placement until 30 September 2024 for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience of internal auditing within complex organisations and ideally within the public sector to the Public Sector Internal Audit Standard.

Ideally will be qualified with a recognisable internal audit qualification CIPFA, PIIA, CIA etc. Must be able to work as part of a team and on their own with mínimal supervision.

Main responsibilities will include carrying out audits within the approved annual audit plan, producing detailed reports with recommendations and attending closing meetings with the auditee management.
