Summary of position
This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Management Surveillance Officer to become integral in working with the Quality Management Surveillance Manager.
Adopting a positive organisational and innovative approach that embraces a patient safety and risk focused approach will be pivotal in the success of the programme.
With the Quality Management Surveillance Lead you will be directly involved in compliance, audit and risk, process mapping, continuous monitoring and verification at each stage of the EHR project.
You will be focussed on guiding and presenting best practice procedures, methods, and conditions before and after the implementation phases, to ensure identification, management and monitoring of any risks relating to clinical delivery, quality and patient safety.
You will be
- The Quality Management Surveillance Officer is responsible for supporting the QMS Lead to be able to build and implement safe quality management and surveillance tools for the EHR system.
- The QMS Officer has the responsibility to monitor risks and safe issues arising from the EHR project, ensuring that they are considered and actioned during the build and implementation of the quality management and surveillance tools.
- The QMS Officer is also responsible for producing progress reports and any adhoc reports for relevant members of the EHR Project team.
- They will work collaboration with the HCA clinical audit and effectiveness leads ensuring capture of quality and surveillance monitoring requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and safe clinical practice.
Successful applicants will need
- Public or private healthcare experience
- Previous experience in involvement or implementation of quality management and/or surveillance tools
- Ability to plan multidisciplinary team meetings, report and present to all involved
- Ability to develop, plan and deliver training programmes as the EHR programme matures
- Methodical approach to work with excellent time management skills; including working to tight deadlines
- Exposure to digital system designs and ability to use multiple digital healthcare systems
