REED are pleased to be working with a well-respected Financial Planning company who are looking for an experienced Client Services Team Manager to join and manage their established Client Support team, overseeing all daily activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage and coordinate a Client Service team, providing advice, guidance, coaching and feedback
- Ensuring your team is engaged and working effectively with advisers as well as sharing best practice
- Conduct regular 121s and appraisals, identifying training needs
- Identify improved working methods, implementing and monitoring changes
- Set culture and tone for your team through use and support of the business values
- Ensure client requirements are met in a compliant, professional, and timely manner
- Track business activity and workflow, clearly identifying problem areas and taking action
- Produce appropriate MI to wider business, relating to performance and trends
- Assist senior management to setting goals and in streamlining processes
- Complaint management, taking action to mitigate risks
- Support the wider business in the management of internal and external service suppliers
- Be involved in various projects when required
Key skills required:
- Experience of working within a similar position with a proven track record in managing and developing a team
- Knowledge of financial service products and processes, including Investments and Pensions
- Good understanding of managing operational procedures to deliver efficiency, accuracy and to meet deadlines
- Proven skills delivering for external clients and an ability to engage, understand and meet their needs
- Highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage multiple channels
- Positive attitude and ability to create a positive team attitude and work ethic
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- CII Level 4 DipPFS qualification is preferred
