Contract to start ASAP until with a possible extension.


We are looking for both day and night workers to be placed on a rota to cover shifts across our children's homes.

They will be hour shifts on a rota.

The rotas are organised weekly to meet the demand of the individual homes.

Full training is provided as part of a comprehensive induction programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team working across of Residential Homes.


In addition to making a positive impact on the lives of our children, there are generous enhancements paid for evenings, weekend working, Bank Holidays and sleeping in duties, additional to your salary.


We are looking for individuals to help ensure children and young people receive a high level and quality of individual support throughout their time in our home.


You will be working within a team supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes, build appropriate relationships and have fun, being there at every step of their development.


You need to be willing to learn and share experiences, skills and knowledge whilst also putting children and young people at the centre of your role.


As a Residential Childcare Officer, you will play an essential part in providing direct care and effective support to young people in our short break home to enable them to achieve positive outcomes in line with their childcare personal plan.


Every day is different, and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can-do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the young people in their care.


We need our team to help recognise and promote young people's individuality, uniqueness and diverse needs whilst providing a nurturing and positive environment.


Personal Development.
To participate in the departmental induction process and in any training that is identified to meet individual development needs.

To contribute to team meetings, service development days and training as appropriate.

To fully participate in the departmental scheme for professional staff supervision and Personal Performance and Development Review.

To accept responsibility for developing own knowledge and skills.

To have knowledge of the statutory and procedural framework of residential services.

To be computer literate and operate the client's IT programmes and management databases.
