The Role
It is an exciting time for IRATA.

To accommodate IRATA's global growth, we are seeking an administrative assistant for our Technician Services department based at IRATA's head office in Ashford, UK.

This is a full-time position. The core working hours are 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Upon successful completion of a three month probationary period the successful applicant will receive;

  • 20 days holiday entitlement per annum (prorata), including public holidays with annual loyalty increments up to an additional five days;
Reporting to the Technician Services Supervisor, the post holder will;
- complete everyday administrative tasks relating to the Technician Services Department;
- coordinate daily post in readiness for collection;
- answer telephone calls on behalf of the department;
- participate in projects relating to the department;
- maintain database(s) and technician records;
- ensure adherence to IRATA data protection policy & procedure;
The person we seek will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate and develop professional relationships at all levels
  • Ability to represent IRATA positively and professionally at all times.
  • Be organised, articulate and have a high level of literacy and numeracy.
Qualifications, Experience & Criteria to Apply


Essential

  • Have full eligibility to work in the UK
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office software.

Desired

  • A Level or equivalent qualification.
