Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for working with various materials to construct and repair metal structures.


Duties:


  • Utilise power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and fit steel beams and columns
  • Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair structures
  • Install metal decking and roof components
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment
  • Utilise carpentry skills for formwork and framing
  • Assist with masonry work as needed
  • Possess commercial driving skills for transporting materials

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Ironworker or similar role
  • Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
  • Strong carpentry skills for formwork and framing
  • Mechanical knowledge for operating machinery
  • Experience in masonry work is advantageous
  • Commercial driving licence is desirable

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
Up to £21.40 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- steel fixer: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS blue card (preferred)
