Business Development Manager - Energy Broker

B asic salaryto £30K - £35KOTE circa £40,000 + Car + Benefits
My client is one of the most well respected Energy Management companies in the UK.

They are looking to add a new business focused field sales professional to their existing sales team in the north of England or Scotland.

The Role:

This is a field based role, working from home but with some visits to the office in Elland
Selling energy management solutions to medium to large businesses of varying markets
You'll be self sourcing your own leads as well as following up on some provided from other methods and booking appointments over the phone which you'll then carry out yourself so you'll ideally spend 34 days on the road.
Booking and attending client and prospect meetings and presenting energy brokerage, energy contract renewals and energy management solutions.

The Person:

Field sales experience is essential, you'll be a talented new business developer, used to sourcing appointments for new business.
Experience working within the energy sector would be great, but other business to business backgrounds can be considered.
Someone used to dealing with mid size customers rather than just small SMEs is important too.
You'll be used to using a CRM system and updating information and sales pipeline
Comfortable working to targets and understanding how to manage the sales process from start to finish, you'll be passionate and proactive in your approach.
