HR MANAGER
If you are an experienced Generalist HR Manager within a manufacturing environment this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a temporary role for a 12-month period based at the client site at Deeside with the option to work from home if required.
Therole is working over a 37.5 hour working week Monday to Friday. The salary will be dependent upon experience and will be discussed at the screening stage.Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide generalist HR support including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employment Law and Employee Relations.
- Influence management to make appropriate assessments of employees and use consistency and best practice when recommending and implementing decisions
- Enable employees with HR information ensuring accessibility and availability of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain policies and procedures in line with local employment legislation.
- Consistently develops people through coaching and counselling.
- Conducts thorough and careful review of data, gathers critical information and delivers quality and timely input to support Associate HR Director, providing critical input to the decisionmaking process.
- Provide proactive support to the HR Director and to client group management team.
- Manage absence via client group to maintain acceptable levels of attendance
- Develop strong working relations with works council representatives and trade union representatives
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance to and cover for HR Director for other functional groups as required
- Actively participate as member of site Leadership team, using skills and knowledge to effectively execute site initiatives and day to day management
- Occasional operations intersite visits with overnight stay as required
Key Skills Required
- HR Generalist background within a manufacturing environment
- Educated to degree level and / or CIPD Qualified
- Workday HRIS
- Comprehensive and professional advice in Human resources in alignment with employment legislation
- Proven ability to manage change and restructuring programmes.
- Proven expertise in Employee relations. Ability to manage the conflicting demands that are placed on HR by Managers requirements and employee demands
- Proven expertise in managing recruitment activities
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of employment legislation
- Demonstrated effective HR support to facilitate key business decisions.
- Proven managerial ability in a blue chip multinational HR function
- Ability to maintain strong relationships and communication channels with the Works Council group to provide transitional information and consultation for the entire workforce.
