Description

This role is part of The Chelsea Magazine Company (CMC), an independent publisher of lifestyle content which has recently been acquired by Telegraph Media Group (TMG).

CMC offers a range of specialist consumer brands including; The English Home, The English Garden, Artists & Illustrators, Classic Boat and Britain.

The portfolio offers print and digital subscriptions in the UK and abroad.
Key Responsibilities

Writing, producing and forward planning commercial content
Collating selected shopping content for the print publication
Compiling newsletters
Continuous monitoring of the retail landscape, in terms of brands and launches that are relevant to our readership
Working closely with advertising clients
Planning commercial content up to a year in advance
Keeping abreast of competitor titles/activity

Requirements:

Excellent written skills and the ability to adapt your tone to suit the voice of the publication
Flexibility and a willingness to work under pressure to achieve results
Ability to produce quality content at speed
An intelligent and sophisticated understanding of commercial content
An understanding of, and appreciation for, luxury lifestyle brands, retailers and publications.
Tenacity, when dealing with clients and colleagues
Confidence and a calm and professional manner when representing the business externally
