We have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Officer to join our Delivery unit at Moorfields Eye Hospital.


This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised and has a keen eye for detail and is able to take initiative when required.


You will need great communication skills as you will be supporting and guiding internal / external stakeholders across multiple programmes.

This post is a Band 7.

Main office base is at City Rd with hybrid working arrangements and potential to travel across sites.


The post holder will be required to work with a wide range of project teams across the organisation to ensure key priorities linked to the Trust strategy are being delivered.


The post holder will have good understanding of project management tools and ability to upskill clinical and operational staff with project management capability.

For the duration of the probation period, the notice period will be in line with contractual obligations on either side.

The Excellence Delivery Unit is a new team with the purpose of supporting the organisation to deliver on core programmes, working together to discover, develop, and deliver sustainable excellence across Moorfields.

Working closely with clinical and operational leads, the team will provide expertise in programme management.

This is an exciting time to join the team, as it forms and designs ways of working in partnership with the organisation.

Collate and review programme data and documentation including plans, status reports, risk logs and programme artefacts.

Track the critical path through major milestones across the portfolio.

Collate status reports created by the programmes to generate portfolio level status reporting.

Support compilation of reports following deep dive reviews for senior leadership.

Manage the escalation process for critical risks and issues.

Provide central support to programmes to identify and track key dependencies across the portfolio.

Ensure timely and accurate information analysis and reporting to management on agreed areas of work including monthly highlight reports.

Contribute to the development of key performance indicators for the successful assessment of individual and work stream success.

Support gathering of qualitative information e.g. patient interviews, facilitating stakeholder focus groups where appropriate.
