Job description

Directorate:
Children and Young People's Services

Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a bespoke service, with a wide variety of roles.

We are looking for a highly motivated and sociable person to join our newly merged support for change service, an integration of our Therapeutic Team, Edge of Care Team and Family Group Conferencing Team within our Children and Young People's Directorate.

Our priorities are supporting a reduction of children coming into our care, and an increase in children returning safely to the care of their families.

Our vision is for children and young people to remain in the care of their families, including under SGO and kinship care arrangements, prevent children from escalation into high-cost residential placements, support children stepping down from those high-cost residential placements, which are often out of authority and far from their home, family, and networks and provision of pre and post adoption support.

The post holder will join with an existing practice support worker with additional priority to support our Special Guardianship/Kinship Care work.

This role has substantial variety and requires a flexible/versatile approach to administration, frequent contact with team customers and an ability to work under pressure.
