We are looking for an EHS Specialist to support the Manufacturing organisation predominantly at our Teesport site, but with some regular travel to our other UK sites.
You will supervise the implementation, development and maintenance of health, safety and environment programmes according to company standards and local regulations.
Evaluate and assess the organisation's production processes, systems and technology and recommend changes that will improve safety and reduce environment impact of the organisation's operations.
Responsible for conducting EHS audits to identify risks and development opportunities, and for co-ordinating ISO14001 and ISO 45001 processes. Developing, co-ordinating and providing training in EHS topics to ensure employee understanding with the organisation's policies and standards.The role is based at Kemira's Teesport site and reports into the EHS Manager UK role.

What you'll bring to the team:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification and willingness to develop professionally
- High level of organisational skills, combined with EHS experience ideally in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both written and verbally.
- Able to problem solve, demonstrate initiative and plan ahead
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web based database systems
