Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on secondment / fixed term as a clinical fellow for up to 12 months within the North East and Yorkshire Regional Nursing Workforce Team in NHS England, supported by the Chief Midwife in the region.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role which is key in assisting the delivery of the Nursing Workforce Team and Maternity Team to support delivery of international recruitment of Midwives across the region.


The post holder will lead on project(s) supporting the regional delivery of a safe sustainable and expanded midwifery workforce related to the national commitment to expand the midwifery workforce.

The focus of this role is on international recruitment of Midwives.

The reason for this fixed term vacancy is short term project due to funding - initially until 30th September 2023, with potential to extend to March 31st 2024
