Are you a secretary, PA or Are you In a different role currently and think you have skills that can transfer? ? Perhaps you work in a role with complex admin, or you have completed further education and looking for a role to get you into Healthcare.


We are offering a range of fabulous training including opportunities that start you in a support role with a fast track training programme to allow you to progress, through to apprenticeships that will take you all the way through to be able to obtain a degree.


We are offering some great flexibility on working hours and working patterns, full time, part time and job share, and full training and mentoring is available if required.


What do you need to have to apply? You need to be enthusiastic and capable, as this is a very fast paced and demanding service.

You need to be very well organised, responsive and be able to work on own initiative. Experience in role where you have developed great keyboard skills and the ability to deal with admin.


Your role will be to support Consultants and their teams in all aspects of the administrative management of patient care including all clinical correspondence and acting as the liaison between all parties involved in the patient care, following strict confidentiality protocols.


Our Medical Secretarial Service employs over 160 staff supporting the Trust consultants and their teams in 22 specialities with administrative and secretarial functions.

The secretarial service is fundamental and forms the foundation for the support of all clinical activity.

The role can be demanding at times, however, our friendly teams thrive on working hard and supporting each other to fulfil the job role.
