Female Personal Care Assistant Required, 13 hours per week, £ 12.63p/h

Female Personal Care Assistant required to support Ngosi, a young woman living with her 11 year old son in their own home in
Camden (NW1)
Ngosi is a fashion graduate who has been living with a neurological condition for over six years.

She has several interests and a healthy zest for life but, the effects of her illness have impacted heavily on what she is able to do.

She is looking to engage a PA to assist her with her day-to-day activities including;
- childcare - assistance with parental responsibilities including accompanying child to after school activities and help with homework
- occasional help with personal care, such as washing and dressing
- support to access community, social and leisure activities
- support with obtaining and taking medication
- help with household tasks, such as light cleaning and laundry
- occasional help with preparing meals and assisting with diet
- support with communication i.e. written and verbal
- general administration of the home to ensure all resources are efficiently managed according to budget.

  • Support with carrying out shopping i.e. online and instore


The hours are generally within 10.30am to 5pm but, can be later on one or two days of the week.


Days required to work:
Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun.

Mon: 10am pm (1hr), - 3pm (1hr), pm (0.5hrs)

Wed: - 3pm (1hr), 3pm - 3.30pm (0.5hrs)

Fri: 10am am (1.5hr)


Sat:
pm (2hrs)

Sun: 9.30 am am (2hrs), 1.00 pm hrs)


1.5 hours for adhoc activities to be agreed each week
5.6 weeks paid holiday per year (pro rata).
