Role summary

This position is a part time based on 20 hours per week from Wednesday to Friday.

Principle accountabilities

  • Assisting in scheduling mixes for all International and dry hire mixing clients
  • Assisting in overseeing the accounts for the dry hire mixing business including quoting, invoicing, submitting weekly revenue estimates to the Head of Department and updating the finance tracker for the department
  • Ensuring that information on the departmental database is kept current and update where necessary
  • To supply the very highest standard of customer services to clients
  • Assist in booking freelance mixers and editors where necessary
  • Provide prompt and effective responses to all our clients on project related queries
  • Track and communicate client attendance to all relevant stakeholders
  • Work closely with the rest of the Localisation team to ensure all available resources are scheduled as effectively as possible

Nature and scope


The Operations Supervisor assists in the scheduling for all our International and Dry Hire mixing clients and liaises with them to facilitate all incoming bookings and enquiries.

The effective management of the scheduling is a crucial part of successfully delivering these projects.


The role holder will work closely with the Head of Department and the rest of the Localisation team to ensure all stakeholders are aware of schedule pressures and can work as a team to solve scheduling conflicts.

The role demands a high level of time pressure in the delivery of content for the clients.


The role is also responsible for providing quotations to clients, processing purchase orders and ensuring clients are invoiced in a timely manner.

The role holder is also involved in the medium to long term strategic planning for the department by informing on long term client schedule information to ensure the department has the staff and facilities needed to match industry demand.


Content security is key - the role holder would need acute awareness of this and carry working practices and behaviours that naturally protect the intellectual property of the films they are working on.

The role requires very close attention to detail in all areas of responsibility.


Skills and experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience in a Coordinator or Project role of some description.
  • Extensive knowledge of Post-Production
  • Adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later
  • Selfdriven and a confident communicator. Must be responsible, dependable and punctual.
  • Customer service
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to commute to both Pinewood and Shepperton studios

Desirable criteria

  • Management or Project Management qualification beneficial.
  • Degree Level Qualification in Film, Media or Business
  • Good knowledge of cinema localisation procedures
  • Basic knowledge of business finance and accounting processes

  • Role location: Pinewood + Shepperton Studios
