Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting a Financial Controller for a great Manufacturing business based in Birmingham. This role will see you play a crucial role in a fantastic finance team

Main duties of this Financial Controller role include:

Ensure that the function of the management accounts are managed and further developed and to provide a continuous drive for improvement throughout the company
Act as a leader for the finance department and ensure each individual is clear on their role, key deliverables and there own personal objectives
Ensure that KPIs are developed and maintained to the business strategy.
Detail both operational and financial KPIs at a board level
Ensure that management accounts are both prepared and reported on a monthly basis
Complete all bank reconciliations and see to any month end actions in good time
Provide the board and PE investors with a presentation of financial results whilst supporting the CEO and disputing where necessary
Supervise and support in the development of the financial and operational control environment whilst also making sure that mínimal control standard, documentation and systems are in place
Ensure that precise forecasting and reporting of balance sheets are being delivered
Make and maintain strong working relationships so that solid business partnering is in place
Ensure that precise insight and forecasting is in place for nonfinancial individuals with the intention to further improve financial and operational performance
Act as a key point of contact when liaising with other companies advisors
Make sure financial statement are signed off in time
Manage everyday treasury activities
Prepare and submit VAT
