Woodgreen Pets Charity has a great opportunity for a self-starting Head of Finance to provide up to 12 months maternity cover.

We are a leading pets charity with over 300 staff and a turnover of circa £20m.

You will report to the Director of Corporate Services and will lead on all aspects of financial management for both the Charity and its trading company.

This includes providing an effective financial accounting service and a first-rate finance business partneringservice.

You will have extensive charity accounting experience and be capable of producing statutory accounts in accordance with the Charity SORP (FRS102) with mínimal guidance.

Woodgreen is a typical fundraising charity and operates over 20 charity shops; relevantexperience of charities of this type is desirable, but not essential.

The Head of Finance is supported by 6 team members, all with the necessary skills and experience, and there will be an opportunity for a handover with the incumbent role holder.

You must be available to start working with us on or before 3 April 2023.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy hybrid working with the expectation of at least one day per week working in our offices near Huntingdon.

The salary for the role will be between £55,000 and £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
