New opportunity not to be missed Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for an experienced Supported Housing Officer
to join our Berwick Street Service Team based in Westminster.
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.
Berwick Street service is a high support needs 24hours service for people aged 16 to 25yrs. Many clients will be care leavers or have experienced homelessness.
You'll be:
- Working on a rolling rota covering weekend and evenings as part of a small and dynamic team
- Working closely with the service manager
- Supporting young people to improve their life skills and engage with education, employment or training
- Support young people's engagement with their resettlement options within the wider community.
- Undertake all aspect of Housing management for the service
- Reviewing Support Plans, risk assessments and case reviews
- Holding professional meetings
- Working in partnership with external partners
- Collaborative work arranging activities/events
- 25 days of annual leave per year, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 27 days
