Working Hours:
Hybrid/Flexible working hours a week

Salary - Up to £26k depending on Experience

An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Senior has become available in part of the Brookson Group - Intouch Accounting. Intouch are contractor account specialists who support professional UK Contractors trading through their own limited company.

What will you be doing as an Accounts Senior?

  • Tax and Administration Support Assistance
  • Assist senior member of the team with any duties relating to company secretarial, company administration or internal administration tasks.
  • VAT and Accounts Production
  • Responsible for producing accurate VAT returns and accounts


  • Coaching and Development

  • Ensure the Accounts Support Assistants are trained to use systems and are familiar with internal processes. Working with the Support Manager and Operations Manager to identify any training needs.


  • Client Manager Support

  • Support the Client Manager with seasonal workload as needed. Including work relating to PAYE, End of Year, P11D, and Self-Assessment Tax Returns.

What are we looking for in an Accounts Senior?

Essential Experience and Qualifications

  • AAT qualified and studying towards ACCA/ACA
  • Part ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong experience of Microsoft Office packages
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Level C or above in GCSE Maths and English

Desirable Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in working with Contractors and Freelancers (Including Sole Traders)
  • Knowledge of FreeAgent/Xero
