Are you an experienced Support Worker looking to transition into the Education Sector?
Here at GSL Education, we are currently working with numerous

SEN schools and

alternative provisions who look to recruit

Support Workers from

Easter term of 2023.

Whilst on school site, you will be expected to support students with challenging behaviour, SEMH, ASC and physical disabilities. You may be expected to support on a 1:1 basis, small group.


Your key responsibility is to provide a personalised learning experience for all pupils and support high quality teaching in line with the national curriculum.

Assistance with personal care may be required.


Ideal Support Worker attributes:


  • Have at least 6 months handson experience of supporting adults or young people with additional needs, such as Physical Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties and Visual Impairments
  • Hold a UK recognised qualification such as a Level 3 NQV in Health and Social Care, Complete Care Certificate, or Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People
  • Have a calm and caring demeanour, with a positive outlook on life
  • Be charismatic and be able to engage young people in educationalbased activities
