The Beal Group of companies is a family run business, focused on supplying commercial têxtiles into the agriculture, modular building, transport, logistic and oil & gas sectors as well as several other sectors including construction, air-motive, automotive, graphic advertising, defence, and leisure.

We are looking for an experienced large format hand bench screen printer to join our busy Beal Group team in Westfield, Cumbernauld.

THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for mixing inks, setting up, printing and keeping work area clean and tidy.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience of large format hand bench work
Experience of mixing inks
Experience of large format screen set up
Able to work independently
Good attention to detail
Monitoring quality of print during run
Cleaning down screens and equipment at end of print run
The ability to work to tight deadlines

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Operation of wide format print equipment
Roll to roll UV printers, digital cutter and associated finishing equipment
Finishing of prints as required
Design/Artwork skills (Ideally in Adobe Illustrator)
Experience of RIP software such as Onyx

This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit someone who enjoys a fast paced and varied environment, is flexible, and has a 'can do' attitude.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am - 3.00pm.
