Our client has a global presence with specialist material manufacturing sites strategically positioned across the UK, Germany, Brazil, and China.
They are a leading UK manufacturer of advanced specialist electrical insulation materials and systems, technical têxtiles, thermal and sleeving products, technical high-performance laminates, and composite materials.

What we need from you as a Production Supervisor:
- Supervisory experience including team management and demonstrable involvement in managing absence/ conduct/performance
- Strong people engagement skills with an ability to create a motivated, enthused, and positive team culture
- Microsoft Office, SAP (or equivalent ERP system experience)
- Demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety within manufacturing environment
- Experience in working effectively under pressure to tight production deadlines
- Previous têxtile experience advantageous but not essential
Qualifications:
- Educated to 'A' level or equivalent standard, or have a Supervisory qualification
Tasks & Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Plan the manufacturing process to create quality product form raw materials
- Instigate measures to support proactive production operation including material stock availability against planned output
- Respond swiftly to machine breakdowns identifying critical impact to customer fulfilment, communicating with necessary internal team members to identify solution and manage customer expectation
- Act as a site ambassador for Health and Safety compliance. Ensure your area of responsibility is a safe and compliant working zone and team members always adhere to correct usage of PPE
- Manage team member performance/output in alignment with production expectations
- Manage team member absence and conduct in alignment with existing policy / processes, seeking support from HR as necessary
- Manage team resource effectively and ensure team member training is undertaken to enable multitasking
- Production of relevant analytical data as necessitated by the business
- Contribute to the integration of new projects/processes
Salary/Hours:
£27,418 - £32,169 pa (dependant on experience and qualifications) -
Hours:39 hours per week. Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm) and Fri (7am am).
