Ideally we are looking for someone from a Software Development background (particularly JavaScript / NodeJS) who can read, package and deploy code and understands the challenges the Development team are facing.

However you will not be expected to write anyproduction code in this role. They will offer training and relevant certification such as AWS Cloud Certs where required.

Essential skills and experience

Strong skills in
AWSCloud Infrastructure with experience in many of the main AWS Services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Cloud Watch etc).

Desirable skills and experience

Any experience with
Terraform and
Kubernetes would be beneficial but you can learn these skills on the job.
Any AWS or Kubernetes Certifications
Knowledge of JavaScript and NodeJS and frameworks/systems
Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and GraphQL

This will be a great role for a Junior AWS Cloud Engineer looking for the next step in their career as part of a talented software team in a Development lead organisation who are early adopters of many new technologies and techniques.

You will have outstandingopportunities to learn from their Cloud Architect and will also pay for relevant AWS Certifications.

Up to £55,000 + benefits + training
