OVERALL SUMMARY


Working closely with key external partners and colleague D & I networks and the wider HR team the role holder willsupport leadership in creating a sense of belonging through embedding inclusion for all where all colleagues feel that they can be themselvesat work.

The HR Business Partner will initiate, plan, control and report on diversity and inclusion interventions, meeting various stakeholder needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the development and implementation of the Group's D & I strategy as approved by the Group Executive Committee (Group ExCo).Reporting to HR Leadership Team (HRLT)and Group Ex Co on progress ensuring practical and effective implementation is achievedwithin agreed timelines.
  • Managing our diversity and inclusion initiatives currently structured under the D&I pillars; act as the key contact for each Group Exco sponsor and each Chair of the colleague led networks
  • Developing robust and credible stakeholder relationships with Group Exco Directors and functional heads ensuring delivery of an excellent HR service to the functional teams.
  • Partner functional heads with delivering people activities including talent & succession planning, engagement programmes and operating model changes.
  • Producing D & I dashboard and undertake regular monitoring and data analysis and measure progress against key deliverables; establish regular reporting intervals.
  • Responsible for all data submissions e.g. to Hampton Alexander, Women in Finance Charter.

Developing Our People:

as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching.

You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal developmentand provide support through regular feedback.


WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

  • HR professional with experience of general or specialist HR practices
  • Strong interest and understanding of diversity and inclusion best practice
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to translate strategy into tactical plans, identifying and recommending solutions
  • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data for reporting and identifying valuecreating insight, able to write reports, synthesise information and present to senior and Executive leadership.
  • Can demonstrate project management skills and able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • You're passionate about people and excited about working with us

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in a diversity and inclusion role with proven track record of delivery, ideally gained in Financial Services.
