Job purpose:


Main duties and responsibilities:


  • Assist with the Pre Entry Assessment (PEA) process for potential students, including preparing correspondence, completing relevant checklists, maintaining contact with families and providing support to families at early evening activities (Monday) and at breakfast (Tuesday)
  • Quality checking reports and correspondence produced by colleagues within the team
  • Deal with all straightforward enquiries and, when required, take detailed and accurate messages and issue them to relevant staff in a timely fashion, and follow up on the progress
  • Produce a range of correspondence, including personalised letters
  • Record and report on all enquiries and communications using the College's database, including recording contacts and activities
  • Maintain and update records such as professional contacts for each student and undertake regular reviews to ensure records are fully up to date
  • Manage a small caseload of potential students ensuring that key documents are produced and issued, to both potential student and their funding body, whilst communication is maintained and deadlines are met
  • Provide support to and, when required, participate in activities such as the New Student Conference, Professional Development Days and student inductions
  • Maintain accurate and up to date filing systems for all student records, including annual archiving
  • Assist senior colleagues with preparation of student records for various audits and quality checks
  • Assist senior colleagues with the completion of a range of forms required by the funding bodies or other external agencies
  • Issue all literature and materials in each individual's preferred working medium
  • Monitor and replenish stocks of literature, stationery and standard materials
Eligibility to work in the UK is required.


Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£20,425.00 per year
