Description
An industry leading business consultancy firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team.

The role reports into the Finance Director, and is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to join a business that will providean excellent career progression, as well as exciting learning and development prospects.

Key Accountabilities:_

  • Assist with the preparation of the UK group financial statements
  • Month end reporting preparing and posting month end journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Quarterly review of management accounts, in order to provide insight that will assist process improvement initiatives
  • Liaising with external advisors, including auditors and local accountants
  • Acting as the lead on local audits, ensuring timely submission
  • Management of junior team members

What we're looking for:_

  • A qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with 35 years PQE experience in industry
  • Experience in a Top 20 audit firm or accountancy practice
  • Experience within the professional services space
  • Excellent technical accounting skills
  • A team player, with strong communication skills
