As a Barclays Quality Control (QC) PEP Analyst, you will be part of the analysts in the PEP Hub QC teams who are responsible for performing evaluations of PEP/High Risk review forms and analysing Client Data.

You will deal with KYC, Transactional Analysis& Adverse Media in order to independently assess, whether Client Due Diligence Policy and regulatory requirements have been complied with.

What will you be doing?:


  • Analysing Client data and documentation stored in the PEP/High Risk Files
  • Assisting assignment team leader/AVP in the preparation of executive summaries and reports
  • Documenting all testing to a standard that allows performance of the work by an independent third party
  • Supporting the embedding of all relevant policies and regulatory requirements
  • Using problem solving and team working skills to resolve complex cases
  • Supporting testing and implementing of new controls and checks for the PEP Hub

What we're looking for:


  • Previous experience with AML/KYC
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively to complete complex and highpriority tasks within target timescales
  • Proven ability to undertake analysis with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Excellent team player
  • Broad knowledge of corporate law and structure
  • Proven knowledge of high risk indicators and revision of complex structures and entity types
  • Proven experience in reviewing complex structures, PEPs and/or Sanctions screening
