_Are you an experienced Trusts and Grants Fundraiser, with a track-record of securing strategic gifts, developing relationships and a desire to end homelessness? _
As a key member of St Mungo's Trusts & Grants fundraising team, you will help raise vital funds for services that support people experiencing and recovering homelessness to rebuild their lives.
In this role, you will secure five and six-figure gifts from charitable trusts and foundations in support of St Mungo's work, building strong relationships with existing and prospective funders, and producing high quality written proposals and reports that reflect the impact of philanthropic support on the people we work with.
Working closely with a team of four other trust fundraisers, you will play a key role in helping to meet our income target of £2.
1m inKey responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of medium to large trust and grant funders (incl. developing compelling, effective funding proposals and reports, and facilitating stewardship opportunities).
- Providing line management, support and supervision to one Trust Fundraising Officer, developing their skills to secure small to medium funding opportunities.
- Working closely with Senior Leadership, operational colleagues and clients to involve them in strategic funding opportunities.
- Working closely with the Trusts & Grants team to contribute to the prospecting pipeline, and collaborating with the wider Fundraising team to identify new funding opportunities and contribute to crossteam initiatives.
We are pleased to offer this role on either a full time (37.5 hours per week), or part time (30 hours per week) basis.
About you
We are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser with excellent communication skills, who can build relationships with funders and with colleagues from across the organisations.
Your strong writing skills will enable you to craft compelling, effective funding proposals and reports that convey the incredible impact that philanthropic support has on the people St Mungo's supports.
Proactive and organised, with the ability to think and work strategically, you will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
